This is ... WOW!

We've been shown this film in class. Seriously, a tutor is doing a seminar for music documentary movies this semester (including bio pics and concert movies and everything). How perfect is that? THE DEVIL AND DANIEL JOHNSTON was our first film and it's really touching. I'm so glad Dan Johnston is playing in Hamburg soon. If I have money I'm definitely going!

If you haven't already seen it...

Watch the documentary "Working Man's Death". It's incredibly intense.

new music for me, for everyone

Oh, I'm so glad I discovered him, Scott Matthew. For a long while now I couldn't figure out, what music I wanted to listen to. I threw in a CD of the Foo Fighters or some other rocky band to motivate myself to do stuff, but now that I heard that, I realized, my heart was craving sth. completely different. And the best thing is: he's coming to play in Hamburg, December 9th!

I like!

Finally, after weeks and weeks of waiting and looking out for this sweater in the size I needed it to be! And now it is in MY possession! How small things can make us happy! Isn't the color just grand?

Funny Flatmate

I found all these on my kitchen table when I came home last night. My flatmate Michael was also clueless about where all the bottles came from, so we figured they must have been brought in by Jakob, my other flatmate.

It was so weird! And we just couldn't imagine, why somebody would want to have so much water in the house. Besides, a lonely STANDARD VODKA bottle stood there, right next to the flavored water. Jakob wouldn't come home until the next day so we started speculating about how he got the bottles and why. We decided to bet on it. Michael thought, Jakob had the chance to get the bottles for a really low price and I assumed, he got them as a present somewhere. We bet a surprise egg - and guess what! I won! Yummy!

A basketball pro friend of Jakob's is leaving Hamburg for Berlin and the water is one of the things he's leaving behind.

Weeeeird...

Is it just me or does this ad from my bank have a really weird sexual connotation going on here?
